'Advocates for Your Place in Paradise'
The Golden Bay Community Board is responsible for:- Representing and acting as an advocate for the interests of the Golden Bay Community.
- Consideration of and reporting on all matters referred by the Tasman District Council or any matter of interest or concern to the Community Board.
- Overview of road works, water supply, sewerage, storm water drainage, parks, recreational facilities, community activities and traffic management projects within the community.
- After consultation with the Community, preparation of an annual submission to the budgetary process of the Council for expenditure within the community.
- Communication with community organizations and special interest groups within the community.
Performing such other functions as the Tasman District Council may delegate to the Board.
