- You can join at H.A.N.D.S. office hours, most Tuesdays from 12-3 pm at 194 Commercial St, Takaka, at a market, or by making an appointment with a committee member.
- Go over member’s agreement together.
- List skills and products offered and wanted using HANDS.
- Cost is $20, of which up to 10 can be paid in HANDS. Kiwi$ are used by H.A.N.D.S. for venue hire, ads, postage, and for printing the directory, newsletter, brochure, market posters, etc.
- Your account is debited a small amount quarterly, usually 3 HANDS, depending on what is needed to run the system. You are credited 3 HANDS if you have a stall at the quarterly market.
- The HANDy messenger will contact you to help you get started trading.
